This mic is a huge improvement over its predecessor.The sound quality has become fuller and warmer.Like its predecessor, connecting to your output devices is not a problem as usual.It's much bigger and heavier than before, which tells me that it'll last a lot longer during recording.As before, it's easy to use and adjust with the ***** for your headphone and volume gainThe material it's made out of can tell me that it can withstand any hits, which can be used as a primary mic for a long time.

New to mics, but this one felt immediately right. The weight is reassuring in a way cheap mics aren't, and the all-metal build on both the mic and the included stand is solid. The stand adjusts to a height where you're not hunching forward to reach it, which matters more once you're actually sitting in front of it daily. Setup is easy: plug in, works.Sound is clear and focused. You do have to talk directly into it rather than vaguely in its direction, but I think that's most mics. The mute button with the LED indicator tells you your status without guessing, and the headphone jack for zero-latency monitoring is a nice addition. Having both USB and XLR means you're not locked in as your setup changes. The only problem now is finding something interesting enough to talk about for an hour every week.
