Take Command with Intuitive Controls

Fine-tune your experience with dedicated function keys. Monitor your voice in real-time through the headphone jack, adjust the monitoring volume on the fly, and use the smooth, resistant gain knob to perfect your audio levels—minimizing the need for post-production editing. (USB only).

Juice up the Gaming Vibe with RGB

Matched to the dynamic microphone's unobtrusive sound, the RGB lighting stays subtle without sacrificing control or color options. A touch-sensitive button lets you switch between three modes and eight solid colors—ten options in total. The base lighting adds a dynamic touch while keeping your setup clean and cohesive.

Tap, Mute, and Done.

Enjoy convenient, hardware-based tap-to-mute control for instant privacy during live streams, complete with an LED mute reminder so you're never accidentally silent.

Flexible Connectivity for Every Creator

Use the XLR connection to unlock professional-grade audio flexibility. Paired with an audio interface, this mic captures studio-level sound with high fidelity and minimal interference—perfect for music recording, vocal tracks, and more. (Please note: The XLR model can't support the function keys and RGB lighting system.)

Prefer plug-and-play simplicity? The USB mode lets you start recording instantly, complete with a handy tap-to-mute button and visual mute indicator for worry-free control during live streams.

Trusted by Creators, Defined by Clarity

More than just a microphone, it's the foundational audio tool on your desk—turning creative ideas into professional-grade content from day one.

FAQs About FIFINE AM8 Mic and BM88 Boom Arm

1. Do the mic includes an XLR cable?

The AM8 microphone and BM88 boom arm do not include an XLR cable, so you will need to purchase one separately. However, you can choose a bundle that includes an XLR cable, which offers better value than buying items individually.

2. Is the AM8 microphone compatible with the FIFINE Genie software?

Sorry, the AM8 microphone is not compatible with fifine Genie software. Only the AM8PROT microphone, SC8 mixer, H13 headset, BM38 boom arm stand, and H19 headset support FIFINE Genie software.

3. Will it work on my PS5 or Xbox?

PS5✔️ for sure. Hook it up to the PS5 console USB port with the included USB cable, and set the mic as the default input and output if your 3.5mm wired headset is plugged into the mic.

Xbox❌ is a no-no. Third-party USB audio devices aren't allowed to work with Xbox, this AM8 is no exception.

4. How do I setup the XLR connection?

For the XLR connection to work, you need a separate XLR cable to connect the mic to an audio interface (or mixer). You should control the functions (like volume, mute, or monitoring) on the audio interface (or mixer).

5. How can I get loud and clear sound quality while recording?

To get the best from the dynamic mic, we suggest speaking into the top of the mic within 2''-6''. You can adjust the mic angle with the included desktop stand or choose the boom arm version of this mic, the AM8T, for optimal positioning.
