Keep the Microphone Floating Lower
Keep your mic low and out of the frame with a low-profile arm stand, which helps you maintain better eye contact with your audience, especially for streaming or live podcasts.
The arm doesn't dominate the frame and stays mostly hidden, leaving only the top of the mic visible. While your screen is fully in view, no bulky boom arm blocking the shot.
Besides that, it also frees up valuable workspace if you mount it at the back of the desk, giving you unobstructed access to your keyboard, mouse, camera, and monitor.
All-Metal C-Clamp, Upgraded Ratchet Handle
A lower price doesn’t mean cutting corners. This stand keeps a full, all-metal build for durability and value.
The C-clamp base opens up to 2.4 inches, fitting most desks with square edges. Plus, a built-in ratchet system makes installation quicker and easier, while inner padding protects delicate surfaces—even glass tables.
If you often change streaming positions or move your setup, the ratchet handle makes repeated installation effortless. It can also fold inward, keeping your desk clean and saving space compared to traditional clamps.
Extended Arm Length for Larger Desks
Once installed, the mic stand stays ready whenever you need it—simply pull the mic into position. Here's a thing: Is it long enough for larger desks where the mic needs to travel from the back or side of the setup?
The FIFINE BM88 handles this with ease. Each arm measures up to 11.5 inches, reaching a total horizontal length of 27.8 inches. You can comfortably pull the mic closer without leaning forward for your recording or gaming.
The best setup? mount the arm beneath your monitor to keep it out of your line of sight. The lower arm also provides 2.8 inches of desk clearance, leaving enough room to use your keyboard and mouse without interference.
Two-Way Rotation for Flexible Positioning
The upper arm’s central joint rotates both horizontally and vertically, allowing true two-way adjustment. While scissor arms offer similar movement, this low-profile design keeps the stand less intrusive during video calls or recording.
You can also raise the arm higher when needed—perfect for positioning a shotgun mic completely out of frame while streaming or recording.
Clean Setup with Cable Management
A true low-profile design shouldn’t rely on external Velcro straps. The BM88 features a built-in cable management system that routes cables neatly inside the arm for a much cleaner setup.
Sliding panels secure the cable in place, preventing it from popping out while the arm moves. Installation is simple—just place the cable in the channel and slide the panels back once.
The upside-down detachable panel keeps the top surface flat while the cable runs hidden below. You'll get a cleaner, more minimal desk setup—even with thicker XLR cables.
More Flexible Adjustment & Compatibility
Equipped with a universal screw adapter (1/4", 3/8", 5/8"), this stand works with most microphones and shock mounts—no extra adapters needed. You can quickly install their equipment and start recording—perfect for gaming, vocal sessions, podcasting, or video production.

What i was expecting was just a normal low profile mic stand but it also has cable management and I also like that you can swing it away from your desk so it's organized. I'm so happy with my purchase!

This is a solid piece of hardware that does exactly what I need. I was getting sick of the hanging jack-knife boom arm that didn't quite reach over my monitor. I found ways to make it work, but it was a total inconvenience every time I needed to record. Then I found this arm and it solved everything. I can now swing it sideways, under my monitors, and I never have to adjust it. It stays in the position I need and when I pull it over, it's perfectly at mouth level. If this thing ever broke, I would buy another one right away. But I don't think that will happen because it's built tough - strong metal and even a robust clamp. This thing is rugged. So happy I bought this.
