One of your first investments should be something like the FIFINE K669. For just $34, it's pretty hard to beat. Overall sound is really good, but it's a bit lacking in noise isolation.
For 30 bucks, it's a very very good desktop microphone. If you're gaming, talking to your friends, streaming anything like that, I think it sounds really, really good for just 30 bucks.
It's very good for casual hangout to your friends on Skype or Discord. You want your friends to hear you well; this would be a perfect budget option.
It actually sounds very good for the price. My vocals are pronounced and clear. From what I can hear, it's pretty impressive for the price.

1. What is the threading size of the microphone mount?

The thread size of the pivot mount is standard 5/8". To attach the mic onto a scissor arm stand with a 3/8" threading, you need to screw the 3/8" to 5/8" adapter that comes with the arm stand package to the mic mount.

2. Can K669B mic work with Macbook?

This USB computer microphone comes with USB-A to USB-A/C cable, which can work with Macbook with type-A or type-C port. Just make sure to set the "USB PnP Audio Device" as default input device of Macbook.

3. How can I pick up the sound loudly and clearly?

Adjust the gain to a proper level as you need by the gain knob and sound settings, and speak to the front of the microphone within 6-12 inches to pick up the sound loudly and clearly. If possible, please use the mic in a quiet room or space.

4. Can I use K669B mic with smartphones or audio mixers?

My first microphone for online video conferences
easy setup (just literally ***** it on the included stand and plug it in a USB port), great price, and perfect for online video conferences. Can't really make a comparison to other mics since it's my first external mic that isn't a built-in pc mic.
