Too muddy sound in USB mode and a little bit better in XLR. It’s a pity because the construction and design are great.
When I purchased this mic I was skeptical to say the least when I saw the price. My skepticism has never been so wrong. This mic is absolutely worth every dollar and more. My audience noticed a huge difference in quality when i changed over. I can't wait to see what Fifine comes out with next!
As soon as I saw this microphone, I knew it was time for an upgrade... I obviously don't want to spend $500 on a mic like the Shure SM7B but this microphone has a sleek design with a really similar sound at a fifth of the price so I bought it. It took about a month to come since it came overseas from China but it wasn't the biggest deal, upon receiving the microphone it sounded great but I only had 2 concerns, first of all, one of the rubber bands holding the shock mount to the microphone fell off somehow so I had to spend an hour trying to re-attach it as it is a very tight fit but other than that the microphone sounded great and I was super happy with it until day 2 when the USB-C cable included with it just stopped working, luckily I tried a different cable and it worked again so I just contacted support and within a day, they responded to me and sent out 2 replacement cables. All in all, I am very happy with this microphone and would highly recommend it if you're on a budget as the only issues I encountered was probably just me being unlucky and will all be solved.

The main downside is that you can hear your headphone cable everytime you move n it can be a bit quiet without a strong preamp n it may need some EQ or compression to sound more polished. It also does not include extra accessories like an XLR cable or boom arm. Overall it’s an excellent value mic that balances performance n affordability especially for streaming, gaming n podcasting
