The All-in-One Mic That Gets Streaming Right.
A standard cardioid microphone reduces sound from the sides and back, but in noisy environments, it can only do so much. The FIFINE AmpliGame AM8 goes further. By integrating a dynamic capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern, it delivers noticeably better noise rejection—helping to minimize common distractions like keyboard clicks, distant traffic, or household sounds.

PS5✔️ for sure. Hook it up to the PS5 console USB port with the included USB cable, and set the mic as the default input, and output if your 3.5mm wired headset is plugged into the mic.
Xbox❌ is a no-no. Third-party USB audio devices aren't allow to work with Xbox, this AM8 is no exception.
For the XLR connection to work, you need a separate XLR cable to connect the mic to an audio interface (or mixer). You should control the functions (like volume, mute, or monitoring) on the audio interface (or mixer).
To get the best from the dynamic mic, we suggest speaking into the top of the mic within 2''-6''. You can adjust the mic angle with the included desktop stand or choose the boom arm version of this mic, the AM8T, for optimal positioning.
It works when using with a proper USB adapter. But we recommend using it only with Windows and Mac computers, since the quality of the adapters may vary and the low-battery status of your phone may affect the performance of the mic.
iPhone/iPad with a type-C port needs a type-C male to type-A female adapter.
iPhone/iPad with a lightning port needs a lightning male to type-A female adapter.
⚠️If it's the lightning version, because of the protocol, it's highly recommend the adapter from Apple store. https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD821AM/A/lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter
Android with a micro-USB port needs a micro-USB male to type-A female adapter.
Android with a type-C port needs a type-C male to type-A female adapter.
The thread size is standard 5/8" and 3/8" of the AM8 yoke. So attach the mic onto a scissor arm stand, NO adapter is needed, just screw the mic in.

The main difference is about the tone, the AM8 sounds most like traditional dynamic microphones with a lot more of the bass, the K688 is more on the high-and-mid, and while Tank3 is the most neutral sounding one among the three.
That means the AM8 has the advantage of noise-rejection over the rest two if the environment is super noisy, like in your gaming room.
If you're concerned about the background but don't want your voice sound quite bassy, the K688 could be a better fit out of the three.
At last, the Tank3 fits a wider range of users, you don't have to worry about your voice getting muddier or more harsh.
Besides the coloration, the appearance and the build quality might also be the deciding factors in this price range. If you want to stand out and add some flavor in the frame, the AM8 with a square shape and RGB lighting is the clear winner. If it's about the opposite style, then the Tank3 is the best fit for its super solid metal body, which is even 1/3 heavier than the K688 but in a more compact body.
I looked into the AM8 after getting a recommendation from an audio community: I recently switched (upgraded) from a gaming headset to a pair of studio-quality headphones and needed a mic for gaming or streaming input. The AM8 does exactly what I need, and the boom arm is simple and intuitive to set up. After playing with the gain and positioning a bit, I can now confidently say that my input is immeasurably better - my teammates hear me clearly and there's little to no keyboard noise or outside interference. I love the LED feature and the simple controls (soft tap on top/front to toggle mute, soft tap on bottom/back to toggle LEDs). I am not connecting my headset to the mic yet since I'm not streaming at this point, but the interface is straightforward and seems easy to use. Would definitely recommend the AM8 for home use. (Bonus: I got mine in rose pink, which complements my setup nicely!)
It’s really good, and amazing for the price
I’m surprised it’s not priced higher
Affordable price and I absolutely love the pink colour. The quality is similar to more expensive brands and that’s with me using the USB connection and it would be even better with the XLR connector 😱 Thank you fifine I will now stream with confidence because of you
