My first impression when I plugged it in and used it. It sounds good but mic picks up the movement of the cable. I can't use it for streaming because of that. I have not tried it for using with any other programs as of yet though.

Thanks for sharing the use experience. The drawback of a wired lapel mic is the movement noises, especially for a quite sensitive lav mic, it's even more subject to those sounds. In order to make up for it, which may off the path but could be a trick to use a lav mic, you tape the wire in two to three sectors to the clothing to make it stay in place. Hope this could help a little bit.

I needed a remote mic for embedding voice on Powerpoint slides. The internal mic does meet my needs. I give it 4 stars because one needs to get the power settings right, the sound quality is great.

I bought this to use for a Zoom deposition at work. It installed easily - I just inserted it into my USB. In use, my computer allowed me to choose my sound source and this was one of the options. I don't need anything fancier.

I like that it has a usb function that lets you hear from the mac single plug in and speak into the microphone.
It was so easy to use...just plug it in! And the sound is good with no ambient noise. I bought this for a colleague to use in our online courses and will buy one for me.
