1. Is the K688CT microphone compatible with fifine genie software?

Sorry, the K688CT microphone is not compatible with fifine genie software. Only the AM8PROT microphone, SC8 mixer, H13 headset, BM38 boom arm stand, H18V LITE headset and H19 headset support FIFINE Genie software.

2. Does it come with an XLR cable?

The microphone does not include an XLR cable, so you will need to purchase one separately. However, you can choose a bundle that includes an XLR cable, which offers better value than buying items individually.

3. PS5 and Xbox Compatible?

PS5✔️ for sure. Hook it up to the PS5 console USB port with the included USB cable, and set the mic as the default input and output if your 3.5mm wired headset is plugged into the mic.

Xbox❌ is a no-no. Third-party USB audio devices aren't allowed to work with Xbox; this K688 is no exception.

4. Are the function keys of this studio microphone available for XLR connection?

No. All the function keys, like the gain knob and mute button, are only available for USB connection. If you want to use the function keys via XLR connection, please connect the mic to a computer via USB connection at the same time.

5. How to Get Clear and Clean Sound from the Podcast Dynamic Mic?

We suggest facing the top of the cardioid dynamic microphone and speaking into it in a 2-6 inch range. Please remember to adjust the microphone gain knob to the proper level before speaking.

6. What Devices Does the FIFINE K688CT USB/XLR Microphone Work with?

This mic works with a computer, PS4/PS5 via USB connection. And it also works with an audio interface and mixer via XLR connection (XLR cable is not included). But it's not recommended to use this mic with instruments.

7. Can I Use This Recording Microphone on Android or iPhone?

It works when used with a proper USB adapter. But we recommend using it only with Windows and Mac computers, since the quality of the adapters may vary, and the low-battery status of your phone may affect the performance of the mic.
