FIFINE W669PRO1 USB Microphone with Pop Filter

This is a great microphone for the price and I personally like the quality. I did not research the fact that it has too much latency for what I wanted to do with it. It was my mistake, and I decided to keep it because for single instrument recordings it is great. However, to record over in loops the delay (latency) is too extreme so not good for that application. All in all, I'm happy with it and will be using it to do my piano music videos, or for voice overs while screen recording.

I bought this as my first upgrade but still at a beginners level.

What I love: Its super easy to use. You literally just plug it in and its ready to go. It immediately improved my audio quality and therefore also made my editing a lot easier too.

What is just so-so: It is nice is that it does come with its own tripod but it isnt very pose-able. The mic itself can only be tilted up or down and the tripod can only able to be used in the position shown in the photos. But it sits well and is very sturdy.

I read about this brand in a book by a long time VO and it was the brand he started his career with.

I cant wait to try it with a mic stand.

It has a USB plug and play cord and so far that is working well. At this point Im not sure about the durability but it has a nice solid feel so Im guessing that it is well built but I will only know that for certain after using it for some time.

So far one week into using it and I am very happy with this purchase. I can see using it for quite a while to get up and going before Im ready for another upgrade.

For the price point 5 stars.

I've had this for several months and use it on a daily bases, both for work meetings and gaming. The sound quality is good, but the noise cancelling is ok. Many times when I game my players can hear TV or other sounds around me. I didn't have this problem with my headset... but I need stereo on my headphones so I can hear directional sound (ex PUBG) which means I can't use the headphones for both sound and microphone. Today was the first time I had a bug with the mute button... it wouldn't unmute, I had to unplug, restart PC, and do the Windows Troubleshooter for it to finally unmute... kind of weird, hoping this is a one-off.
