Very practical microphone, it is functional for what I need in my facebook transmissions, youtube and my virtual meetings, the advantage is that it has its own volume and mute button for easy handling and is easily adjustable, recommended for practical use.

The Fifine Desktop Gooseneck Microphone with Mute Button, LED Indicator and Gain Control is an excellent choice for a basic close-talk desk mic. Of importance was that the mic have a base mounted mute button with LED indicator that is silent, meaning there is no 'click' sound heard by listeners when the mute button is used. Last but not least, this mic has a gain **** on the base to adjust the microphone's gain instead of having to go into an app to make the adjustment. The sound quality is very acceptable.

Perfect form factor--tall, angleable, very skinny body and small head, solid base.
Excellent, full bodied sound at comfortable speaking distance--for me about 13" diagonally downward from my mouth.
Good low price--excellent value.

Easy to set up, works great with voice recognition (Dragon 15) and appears to be unidirectional so it does not pick up background noise like the other mics do. I would buy this again.
