Headset boom mic installation
1. Insert the boom mic completely into the jack. And make sure to align the boom mic with the tiny slot of the jack .
2. Check if the mic can be muted by the switch on the in-line controller. The red indicator on means the mic is muted, the red indicator off means the mic is working.
3. After you plug the headset in the PC or laptop, please set it as default input device in system sound control panel and software audio settings, otherwise the mic will not pick up the sound. And disable other mics manually.
4. Check if the software using the mic allows the use of the mic. Try turning on the Privacy Settings for apps that you want to use with your mic by following the steps below.
Click “Windowns” icon or press “Win” on your keyboard → Click "Settings" → In the pop-up windws select "Privacy & security" category → Scroll down and find the "Microphone" option → Make sure the "Microphone access" is enable
Not recognized/Recognized but no sound

1. Check up the above session on how to install the microphone properly.
2. Click into "sound panel"-"recording devices" to make the H6 headset default input.
3. Double click the H6 headset under "recording devices", find the "Level" tab to crank up the input volume level.
4. Open the audio setting of your Discord (or other software that you are using) to confirm that the input and output are both H6 headset.

If the driver fails to trigger the automatic installation on Windows, just follow the steps below to update and reinstall the driver. For the other systems users, please check out the correspondent tabs.

Acer R11 with Version: 71;
Acer C720, Acer C740, Samsung Series 3, and Samsung Series 5 with OS Version: 72.0.3626.117.
Then downloaded a Voice Recorder app from the Play Store, you're good to go.
It works when using with a proper USB adapter.
