Get the AmpliGame SC3 to Work As A Stripped-down GoXLR Mini

Combine the “Voicemeter Banana” and “Virtual Audio Cable” from VB-Audio with the “Audio Router”, and you can pretty much make your own routing system to get the AmpliGame SC3 to work as a stripped-down GoXLR mini.

  1. Under the “HARDWARE INPUT 1”dropdown menu, select “fifine sc3”.
  2. Enable “B1”under the “HARDWARE INPUT 1” channel, which sends the “HARDWARE INPUT 1” audio to virtual output “B1”.
  3. Download and install the paid version of the “vb-cable A+B”driver from vb-audio.com and the “audio router” from GitHub.
  4. Click open the “audio router”and two other applications that you want separate level control during your streaming, such as Spotify, Discord, etc. Under the control window of the “audio router”, find Discord and click the dropdown menu underneath, and select “route”. In the popped-up window, choose the “CABLE-A Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)” driver from the dropdown menu. The same goes for Spotify, but select “CABLE-B Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)” this time. By doing so, you will route the Discord output audio to the driver of “CABLE-A Input” and Spotify to the driver of “CABLE-B Input”.
  5. If you have also gone for Discord, go to the “User Settings”and “Voice & Video”, and make sure the “CABLE-A Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)” is the output device while select the “fifine SC3” as input device.
  6. Go back to Voicemeter Banana, Under the “HARDWARE INPUT 2”dropdown menu, select “CABLE-A Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)”.
  7. Enable “A1”under the “HARDWARE INPUT 2” channel, which sends the “HARDWARE INPUT 2” Discord audio to the hardware output “A1” ie the headphone jack of the SC3. You can also choose whether to connect the “HARDWARE INPUT 2” to “B1” to let the live-streaming audience hear your teammates’
  8. Under the “HARDWARE INPUT 3”dropdown menu, select “CABLE-B Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)”.
  9. Also enable “A1”under this channel, which sends the “HARDWARE INPUT 3” Spotify audio to the hardware output “A1” ie the SC3 headphone jack, and enable “B1” to stream the Spotify music to the audience.
  10. Enable “A1”under the “Voicemeter VAIO” channel, which sends the “Voicemeter VAIO” namely the Windows audio to the hardware output “A1” ie the headphone jack of the SC3. Whether to let the live-streaming audience hear the audio from your computer depends on the routing to B1. Or you can just skip this step to use the desktop audio capture from OBS instead. If so, then disconnect the audio from this channel to any hardware or software output.
  11. With the Line In jack of SC3, instead of using VLC, you can stream audio clip directly from your phone that is connected to SC3. So change nothing on the secnd virtual input channel “Voicemeter AUX”.
  12. Under the “A1”dropdown menu, select “fifine sc3”.
  13. Go to OBS, click open “Settings”→ “Audio”, and make the virtual output “B1” which is the “Voicemeter Output (VB-Audio Voicemeter VAIO)” Mic/Auxiliary Audio Device. If you haven’t send any audio to “B2” under the setting of Voicemeter Banana, then leave the rest Mic/Auxiliary Audio Device disable.
