K038 FAQs

Self Troubleshoot before proceed any further.

Please include the test result when resorting for email support.

1.After connecting to wall outlet and pressing the power button, does the receiver red indicator light up?

2.Using fresh batteries for transmitters. After powering them on, do transmitter screens and both B & C indicators of receiver turn on and stay solid?

3.If B & C indicators flash, does reset help?

4.If reset doesn't work, before reset, are all units off? During reset: does screen B blink and 596MHz appear (or screen C blink and 586MHz appear)?

5.Is audio source hooked up to the R+L in jack, while output is connected through R+L/AUX out?

4.Are all volume controls on receiver/speaker set to decent level?

Q: How to reset the K038 dual wireless mics system?

A: You can find step-by-step tutorial on K038 problem-solving playlist: http://bit.ly/k038problemsolving

  1. Turn off the power to receiver as well as transmitters B & C before you get started.
  2. Power on transmitter B and reset it by clicking the top button for 10 times. A flashing 605.000 channel number shows up if you reset transmitter B proper.
  3. The same goes for transmitter C. But what appears on transmitter is the flashing 584.000 channel.
  4. When they are still flashing, switch on receiver. Pay a bit attention here if its RF B & C lights will blink for 3 times before the last step.
  5. Click the top buttons of both transmitter B & C, resulting in pairing successfully.

Hi @Marty Wild sorry about the issue. If the receiver isn’t actually on, then the reset won’t work. So we have to figure out whether the receiver can still function. When you said the receiver flashed green light and turned off, do you mean the middle red light?
Could you test only the receiver and use it with another power outlet? See if the red indicator lights up when you power the receiver up and press the power button.

Hi @corey jones sorry for the late reply. We’re not quite sure how you hooked up the device. Does it goes like this: K038 input to a mixer, which has USB connecting with computer and has the speaker plugged into its output?
If so, it sounds reasonable to get feedback when there’s so many volume control. But that also give more possibility to fix the problem. To avoid speaker hissing and hot signal, we should look at the input volume, which is K038 receiver volume dial. Keep it around 70%. Next would be the speaker volume, you would like to have it as low as possible, then even a hot signal coming, still no hissing will be heard. Turn speaker volume below 50%. Then we look on the mixer, just keep mic volume and main out dial decently at around 60%. At last, crank up the computer input to 80%. You should be able to get balanced amplified and recorded sound by now.

    Hello,

We have a k038 wireless mic system. We are no longer able to get the receiver to connect with the transmitters. We have tried to reset and nothing. When we turn the receiver on it flashes green but then the light turns off. Batteries seem to be fine. Any suggestions. Thanks!

Good evening, I am having trouble with the mic volume. The mic is connected to my live board and I get feed back when the volume is push high and when it’s normal volume my software wave form is below normal signal level. This is for my church my Pastor is loud on occasions and somber at times. Can you give me some ideas or recommendations for some solutions. The mics overall are an excellent piece of work .

Hi @Darrell McGahhey, sorry about the issue. We are not sure if it goes like the guitarist said. But I think we can trouble shoot to find out what is the problem. You have tried with the fresh batteries and have got the transmitter and receiver pretty close to each other haven’t you? But the signal still dropped out? Then how about changing frequency and reset the whole system? The reset tutorial video is below, from 344 to 4:54

Three notice here during the reset.
    1. All units must be off at the beginning.
    2. 605 and 584 frequency will appear and flash.
    3. The receiver will blink green for three times when being turned on.
